Behind The Scenes: Derek Wong Photography capturing a beautiful elopement at Secret Island at Kualoa Ranch on the Windward Side of Oahu, Hawaii. The couple took a boat across the fish pond to reach the dock to one of the most scenic vantage points of the Ko’olau Mountain Range. The elopement took place during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Both the Photographer and Videographer were wearing masks and socially distanced themselves from the couple. Cinematography by Alex Yee of Yee Films. Alex Yee has the ability to capture beautifully intimate moments of a couple. Some reasons why I love working with him is that he is very humble and friendly, he is so calm under pressure, and he has the ability to create some of the most stunning moving images with his eye for beautiful composition and his artful editing process.
